*Spoiler*: The crap on this page is ugly and hurtful, a painful reminder of the stigma upon the mentally ill. I request that you take responsibility for your triggers and skip this page if you can't bear being mistreated because of who you are.

I'd like to start with my all-time favorite. This helpful note was in response to a review of Dimitri and Janice Papolos' ground-breaking book, The Bipolar Child: The Definitive and Reassuring Guide to Childhood's Most Misunderstood Disorder.

>Subject: violent children >Date: Mon, 22 Nov 1999 16:08:46 CST > >Hi, I can tell you EXACTLY what is wrong with your children and >EXACTLY how they can be well. The Bible calls it Demon Possession. >These kids have all of the same symptoms mentioned in the Bible of >demon possessed people. The Bible says in some cases Satan can >possess anyone at HIS OWN WILL. Adults as well, it's not just >children. If you really care about your children, you will do >whatever you have to do for them to be set free from this curse. >Here is your answer, and there will NEVER be any other answer but >this one. YOU can END this problem NOW, or let your child go on > suffering. All you have to do is CALL on a Full Gospel Preacher >and they KNOW how to cast out demons. Go ahead now and DO this. >What have you got to lose? Evil Spirits, that's what. Parents, >you born again? If not, you owe it to yourself, to God, and your >children to be saved. >To God be the Glory, in Jesus' name, Amen.

If you would care to share your experience of being exorcised of Demon Bipolar Disorder, please tell us about it on our Feedback form.
