Dear Father In Heaven

I'd been away from you too long
For awhile you put a song in my heart
And I felt you with me
Then I went too far apart from you
Unknowingly, too, too far

My struggle was grave
Lonliness beset me
I had questions and needs
And I'd been forgetting to ask your help
And finally I knew that the Dark Angel
haunted and attacked me

And then I remembered to let
your song ring in my heart
over and over again

That was lovely Spirit. It's amazing to me that we "forget" He is there and don't ask for help from the one source that could take away our pain.

Just a note...I heard on tv tonight that "God is greater than all the religions". So no matter what we believe, He is constant and all-powerful to us all. I am so glad you are on this board to try to awaken us to Him.
