I'm glad you can relate, Doris! :)

Another two songs for the list:

"The White Tree", by Howard Shore
(from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the Kings soundtrack)

"Chevaliers de Sangreal", Hans Zimmer
(from The Da Vinci Code soundtrack)

They're both great, but the second one is exceptional at boosting my mood.

i am more into the darker shades of music. my favorite being STAIND. 4 anyone who thinks this music is 2 dark, 2 depressing, 2 edgy, or just 2 hard 2 follow .....PLEASE look up the lyrics and give em a listen. theres just something about knowing that theres someone out there that can relate 2 how ur feeling. no one can write lyrics like these without having truly been there themselves. and of coarse, then theres my all time favorite band of all PEARL JAM. talented, wise, insightfull lyrics. u gotta just listen 2 em over and ovr again cause each time u catch something new. if it werent 4 music, i wouldnt be here 2day.
......crawl inside my head with me and I'll show you how it feels to be ashamed like me

Wow.That reminds me.While I was really fucked in the late 90's.I got Yield by Pearl Jam.
Within days I was reciting 'Given To Fly' and 'Wishlist'.Still totally off the planet, I was.
I'd seen them live a few times but those two songs are my fave Pearl Jam.
'Do the Evolution' rocks too.

I still drift off when I hear that album cos it catapults me back to a time when music was the real medication that mattered.

"He floated back down cos he wanted to share..his keys to the locks on the chains he saw..everywhere"

Lovely.

Hey Zooie, that was really an amazing performance by such a young boy. He definitely has a long career ahead of him, don't you think? I liked the melody a lot.
