MY SPECIAL BEACH

by Robert Margadona

I'LL FIND A SPECIAL BEACH SOME WHERE
WITH PELICANS AND SEAGULLS IN THE AIR
I'LL HEAR THE OCEAN IN A SHELL
AND SENSE THAT SORT OF FISHY SMELL

I'LL WALK ALONG THE SANDY SHORE
AND HEAR THE OCEAN'S ANGRY ROAR
I'LL SPOT WHERE DOLPHINS LOVE TO PLAY
WHEN IT'S SUNNY, GLOOMY DAY

I CATCH A CRAB AND SET IT FREE
AND REST UNDER AN OLD PALM TREE
AT NIGHT I SEE A CREATURES LEG
AND SEE A TURTLE LAYING EGGS

I SEE SOME LIGHTING FROM A DOCK
AND SEEK FOR SHELTER BENEATH A ROCK
IT'S COLD POTSIDE, I FEEL THE BREEZE
I CUDDLE UP SO I DON'T FREEZE

THE SUN COMES UP, I SEE THE LIGHT
THE OCEAN SPARKLES WHAT A SIGHT
